About Coach SRG
Diagnosed with a neurofibrosarcoma in 2019, Coach SRG underwent surgery to remove the tumour from his leg in September 2020. While the doctor’s were able to save the leg, the recovery period dragged on, and Coach SRG experienced numerous setbacks.
In Fall 2023, Coach SRG began coaching for Little Kickers Sudbury, helping hundreds of boys & girls (aged 18 months – 8 years) learn basic soccer skills.
An unexpected move brought Coach SRG to Ottawa just before the summer of 2024, and a series of foot & leg injuries led to an extended rest period, resulting in weight gain, muscle loss, and some nutritional deficits.

One day, I hope to run my own soccer program & coach an iModal team, but for now I need to focus on getting back in shape.
